Meet our founders
Finear Piano Service was founded in 2024 by Liew Kok Tong and Yoo Min, both of whom are highly trained and dedicated piano technicians. They trained at Florida State University, where they pursued their Master of Art Degrees with an emphasis in Piano Technology, graduating with the highest honors. Their extensive training and experience with a variety of prestigious piano brands, including Steinway & Sons, Kawai, Yamaha, Mason & Hamlin, and Baldwin, have equipped them with the expertise to handle a wide range of piano maintenance and repair needs.
Liew Kok Tong and Yoo Min were piano performance majors during their undergraduate years at Universiti Putra Malaysia, one of the top universities in Malaysia. This background as performers gives them a unique perspective and deep appreciation for the instrument. They understand the crucial role of a well-maintained piano in a musician’s performance, which drives their commitment to mastering every aspect of piano technology. At Finear Piano Service, they combine their passion for music with their technical skills to provide exceptional service, ensuring that every piano they work on performs at its best.
